Stereo Dance Party lasted little more than a year and was based on the idea of short, sharp and fun. After a while it wasn't fun anymore. Apparently it sounded a lot like a band called the Pixies. I had never heard of them at the time and was amazed when introduced to their music. It really is quite similar!
